The gamepad is miles better than the keyboard so it has become my mainstay.

Oldest first newest first most appreciated first. Xbox elite controller with rewasd is nice since you get 4 more buttons. I am surprised you have problems hope you get it working. Basic flight landing and takoff duration.

I do own a steering wheel setup as well but that doesn t work well in star citizen yet. Controller for flying and fighting with just combat flight and keyboard for extra stuff like shields etc and kb m for fps. One column two columns sort by. But as the other said you kinda can t play controller only.

Star citizen does not recognise my xbox one controller. I just changed a couple of buttons for strafing movement to get it how i like it just changed them in advanced settings. If you re using some kind of non mouse human interface device like a joystick stick hotas or xbox controller especially when also using a device like an n52 nostromo g13 gamepad you may run into trouble getting your primary control device detected and usable in star citizen. I have used a wireless xbox controller for flight only for over a year know and it has been fine.

When i m at the main menu the controller won t work but in the options menu it lets me navigate. I head out in my gladius to perform some epic landings thanks to 1 1 2 all while talking you through my current gamepad setup featured music. 1 point 4 years ago. R flightsim loved the app more responsive than webcam and no load on the pc.

I use a logitech f710 xbox controller when driving ground vehicles like the tumbril cyclone nox etc. Head tracking in star citizen with an iphone and opentrack works for all trackir games without head gears. I don t expect an xbox controller to work the same on a javelin as it does on an m50. Works with other games except star citizen.

Just recently bought a new xbox controller connects to my laptop fine with bluetooth. I m learning towards controller with kb m as well.
